Prepare recipe, cookie dough or savory biscuit or muffin batter.
Fill each cavity of the bottom baking pan half-full with cookie dough.
Press the metal inserts on top of the dough to spread uniformly within each cup.
Trim excess dough and then retrim after baking before dough cools.
Bake, cool and then remove cups from the pan.
